Information relating to OxFORD, its business and investment strategies, is strictly confidential. Information learned during the course of the recruitment process, and details of your interview questions and assessments, must not be disclosed to any third parties.

References to “OxFORD”, “we”, “our” and “us” include OxFORD Asset Management and its associated group of companies.

Recruitment Privacy Notice

  1. Application of Privacy Notice

    This Recruitment Privacy Notice sets out how OxFORD Asset Management handles the personal information that it receives and collects in relation to recruitment candidates.

  2. What information does OxFORD Asset Management collect?

    OxFORD collects your personal data for the purposes of managing its recruitment related activities and, if your application is successful, managing our ongoing employment relationship with you. This includes information that you submit to us as part of your application, and information that we may obtain from third party sources (e.g. your recruitment agent and referees).

  3. How is your personal information used?

    OxFORD may use your personal data for evaluation and selection purposes and otherwise as required for the recruitment process (e.g. for setting up and conducting interviews/tests). We may also use your personal data to manage our ongoing contractual and legal rights and obligations in relation to you; in order to further our legitimate business interests; to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations; and to defend our contractual and legal position.

  4. Disclosure of your information

    OxFORD may disclose your personal information to its staff, agents, sub-contractors, service providers, representatives and advisers (for the purposes set out in this notice).

    We may also disclose your personal information in accordance with our legal, contractual and regulatory obligations; or by an order of court/tribunal or other competent authority or regulatory body; or to defend our contractual or legal position.

    We use technical and organisational security measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss and destruction.

    Your personal data may be transferred and/or disclosed to any entity within OxFORD Asset Management’s group. Your personal information may also be transferred to, stored and processed by third party organisations which process data for and on our behalf. Such entities may be based (or store or process information) in the UK or elsewhere, including the USA or otherwise outside of the EEA. When we transfer your information to a country or organisation outside of the UK / EEA, we will comply with the relevant legal rules governing such transfers and will take appropriate steps to ensure the continuing security of your information.

    We retain your personal information only for so long as is necessary. The length of time we will retain your personal information is determined by a number of factors, including the purpose for which we use that information and our obligations under other laws.

    In addition, you have the right to request that we:

    • Provide you with a copy of the personal information that we hold about you.
    • Update your personal information where it is out-of-date or incorrect.
    • Delete or restrict our use of certain data, or consider any other valid objections to our processing of your personal information. Please note that we may still have the right to continue to process such data, e.g. on the grounds of our legitimate business interests. We will provide additional information as necessary on whether your rights apply in the particular circumstances.
